Note: you must sign in to Google with the UPSC account first in order to gain access.
We keep everything in it: files, photos, paperwork, receipts, everything. It lets us work together on Google Docs throughout the year and keep all our information in one spot so we can hand it off to future UPSC Executive Teams.
The Google Drive has a folder for each position. (i.e. Academics folder, Communications folder, Finance folder, etc.)
The folder for your position becomes yours for the year. You can organize it however you like (just don’t delete files from previous years), and put all your UPSC work in it.
There are also special folders for things like our Constitution, Meeting Notes, Elections, and UPSC Photos.
UPSC logo - in “UPSC Logo/Brand/Templates” folder (the red folder)
Passwords - in Operations folder
Meeting Notes & Meeting Agenda - in Meetings folder
Elections - has its own folder
Constitution - has its own folder
Budget, copy of receipts (phone photo is ok) - Finance folder
Event Photos - Photos folder
YFS and SCLD stuff - in Operations folder
YUconnect stuff - in Operations folder
Website stuff - in Communications folder
Don’t delete old stuff! Archive it! We have to keep it for future UPSC Exec Teams to learn from. If we don’t share info with future Exec Teams, then UPSC dies. It’s happened before.
The Google Drive app syncs the UPSC drive to your Mac or PC computer so you can work with our files normally as if they were saved on your computer.
There's also a Google Drive app for Android and iPhone.
